November 8, 1961 - July 28, 2024

The life of our dear Teresa was brought to a sudden and tragic end. She held a special place in the hearts of many as a beloved daughter, sibling, aunt, and friend. Teresa came into this world in Exeter, CA, welcomed by her parents Robert and Esther Bennett. She was a proud graduate of Redwood High School, College of Sequoia, and Fresno State University.

Following a 27-year career, she retired as a Parole Agent with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Known for her abundant energy, Teresa chose to take on the role of a seasonal assistant Biologist at King's Mosquito Abatement.

Teresa had a passion for creating delicious baked treats to share with her loved ones, enjoyed traveling and shopping, and loved attending country music concerts. Her infectious laughter that resonated throughout any space will always be remembered.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father Robert D. Bennett. She is survived by her mother Esther M. Bennett, three sisters Elizabeth LaCasse (David) Star, ID, Melissa Davidson (Roger) Visalia, CA, and Rhonda Day (Shawn) Tulare, CA, as well as many nieces, nephews, other loved family members, and great friends.

As one of her friends said “We have witnessed the true meaning of compassion, kindness, and generosity. She was the kind of person who put other’s needs above her own, showering them with love and her sweet treats. She went out of her way to make people feel special and loved, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched”.

A private service will be held at a later date.
